Jacki Scott (Director/Musical Director)

Jacki hails from upstate NY. She has lived in FL for almost 26 years and is the founder and president of the Citrus Community Concert Choir. She has participated in various capacities in musicals and plays and has almost 70 shows under her belt! Jacki is a local private piano, vocal and drama instructor and is also the Director of Music at Hope Lutheran Church in Citrus Springs. She is thrilled to be director and musical director for the Valerie Players production of Something’s Afoot!!

McMillan, Chris (Lady Grace Manley-Prowe)

and her husband Terry retired from Illinois to Inverness in 1998. She has been active on the Citrus County Art Center stage since 2003, and is excited to be one of the original Players at the Valerie since 2021. Her leading/supporting appearances include musical, dramatic, and comedic productions of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Dial M for Murder, The King and I, Witness for the Prosecution,Mame and The Kids Left The Dog Died, Now What?, Romance in D, Murder at the Howard Johnson’s, Sex Please, We’re Sixty, Nunsense II,Tower Stories, The Trial of Ebenezer Scrooge, and Ripcord. She thanks her husband for his encouraging support of her theatrical pursuits and has thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone involved in this production!

Robert Ryan (Dr. Grayburn)

Originally from the northeast, Rob dabbled in theatre in elementary school but relocated to South Florida where he spent three decades playing drums and singing in original rock and country bands. He is now living in Inverness with his wife where he is excited to be part of the Valerie Players in his first foray into theatre as an adult.

John Telschow (Nigel)

is a 2007 graduate of Citrus High, first discovered his love for the stage during high school. After a long hiatus raising a family, he returned to acting with the lead role of Jeremy Winthrop in the Art Center of Citrus County's 2021 production of Will You Still Love Me in the . Since January 2023, he has been a consistent presence on the stages of the Valerie Theatre and the Art Center, performing in over 20 productions (150+ performances). "Something's Afoot" marks his third production with The Valerie Players and his first musical solo a milestone moment in his theatrical journey. Fueled by the encouragement of close friends and his desire to be an inspiring role model for his teenage children, John passionately pursues his dream of one day making it to the big screen. Lori Kohan (Assistant Director/Choreographer)

is excited to be assistant directing and choreographing for the Valerie Players with her good friend, Jacki. She recently choreographed, “Cabaret” at Stage West Playhouse. She has Co-Directed, Choreographed and Produced numerous musicals in NY and has performed in 60+ shows. Since moving to Florida, she has choreographed, “Cabaret,” “Godspell,” “Cinderella,” “Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “Mamma Mia,” “The Last Stop Before Looney Town,” “The Charitable Sisterhood Christmas Spectacular,” “The Curse of the Hopeless Diamond” and “Music Man.” For the past three years, she taught dance at Stage West Playhouse for the Children’s Summer Theater Camp. One of Lori’s fondest memories is having performed at Carnegie Hall in NYC with the Citrus Community Concert Choir along with other choirs from the country. She wishes to thank the cast and crew for their patience, dedication and talent. She also thanks her husband John for his continuous love, and for supporting her favorite passion!

Laura Robert (Col. Gillweather)

Laura is a Ft. Lauderdale Floridian. She has 10 years in professional theatre as a stage manager and technician. She was thrown into 4 roles as a man. She was trained as an opera singer in high school. Her career in theatre culminated working on Broadway as an assistant stage manager. Since then, she joined the Navy Med Corp and finished nursing school. With that accomplished, she went back to school and got a Masters degree in business with a minor in accounting. This led her to a position in the IRS. She missed music, so came back to Florida and joined the Citrus Community Concert Choir. This gave her the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in NYC. And now, she is back playing a role as a man in Something’s Afoot.

Meghan Provost (Lettie)

This is Meghan’s sixth show here at The Valerie Theater! You may have previously seen her as some of her other notable roles as Snoopy in “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown”, or as Wednesday Addams’ in “The Addams’ Family Musical”. She has also been in Guys n’ Dolls, Dracula, and The Holiday Express. Outside of theatre Meghan is a 20 year old, full time tattoo artist. And has been a choir student in every singing group she could’ve possibly been in from 1st-12th grade.

Tiffany Adams (Miss Tweed)

Tiffany is thrilled to be a part of yet another Valerie Player Production! You might recognize her from her debut performance at the Valerie as the ever-coveted Mina Murray in Dracula or, most recently, as the trashy ex-fiancee Linda in The Wedding Singer. A musical theatre and acting scholar from Columbia College Chicago and International Honor Thespian, she's excited to share her love for the stage once again with her hometown audience.

Greigh Savage (Clive & Geoffrey)

Greigh is a veteran of the past four years of Valerie Players productions. He is a graduate of Citrus High School and attended the Palm Beach Atlantic University's School of Music and Fine Arts. You may have seen him in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown), Guys and Dolls (Nathan Detroit), The Addams Family Musical (Uncle Fester) and The Wedding Singer (Glen Guglia).

Elissa Kane (Hope Langdon)

Do not let her day-job as an English Professor for the College of Central Florida fool you, Elissa has always been an actress at heart. She has been a part of 20 productions, from straight plays to musicals, and loved every moment of it. From her first role as Sally in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, to her most recent ascendence to the stage as Miss. Willie in The Curious Savage, there has yet to be a role she has not taken to with relish and Dracula will undoubtedly join that line up.  Elissa is thrilled to have this opportunity to join the Valerie Players and hopes to continue to do so for future productions. Every moment has been a pleasure, her cast mates, and the technical providers a treat, and the director kind and understanding. This has been the opportunity of a lifetime, and she cannot wait to do it again!
