A suspense thriller by Frederick Knott

Susan Hendrix, recently blinded, is alone in her Greenwich Village apartment when three con men talk their way through her door — every one of them after a doll that's hiding something they'll kill to get back. As the traps tighten, Susan realizes her one advantage is the dark, and she's ready to fight there. Taut, twist-filled, and famous for a final act that plays in near-total blackout.

Valerie Players president Sue Whitney and treasurer Linda Bega presented graduating senior Nathan Browne with a $1,500 scholarship toward his arts education. This fall, Nathan heads to the Savannah College of Art and Design to major in acting.

From all of us at The Valerie Players — congratulations, Nathan. We can't wait to see where the stage takes you.

Seventeen years old, a senior at Seven Rivers, and headed to SCAD in Georgia to major in theatre after graduation. This was his first show with The Valerie Players.

Third production with The Valerie Players. Off stage Jon is in the classroom shaping young minds — and on a baseball field, where he spent 30 years coaching teamwork, patience, and the importance of running to first base.

A retired executive who traded boardrooms for spotlights last year in Happy Holidays Citrus County. Hasn't looked back since — and credits the camaraderie of the Citrus County theatre scene for the second act.
